My son was talking about how a kindergartener almost died because he went with someone offering them candy. What the story you heard about Patton Park? I'm wondering if it's the same thing? What's the real story? It was a good opportunity to tell them NEVER approach a car with someone you don't know well! Not even to help them. Adults don't need kids to help them, they can ask other adults.

Jen - the school committee meetings are usually held at the Buker School, and yes, the public can attend. I think their mtgs are at 7:00 but you can check the schools website for the info.
