Double-Barrelled, 4-Day-Long Winter Storm Possible Starting Sunday

Two separate storms forecasted to move across Hamilton and Wenham next week could drop accumulating snow, with a greater chance later on in the week.

A two part winter storm that could first move in on Sunday and last through Thursday could possibly bring some of the first measurable snow of the winter. Pete Bouchard, chief meteorologist at Patch news partner WHDH-TV, said in a blog post Wednesday that the first storm from Sunday afternoon through Monday will have light precipitation. And that favors a greater chance of "wet than white," since heavy precipitation can pull in its own cold air. And Bouchard's co-worker, Jeremy Reiner, agreed by saying that "it does not look like a big storm" and "it does look like a cold storm."
