Five Things to Know on Feb. 19: Final Day for Candidates to Pull Papers

An essential get-me-going daily morning column from Hamilton-Wenham Patch.

Today is Tuesday, Feb. 19. Here are five things you need to know in Hamilton and Wenham: 1. Warmer: Tuesday will be much warmer than Monday, with temperatures getting well into the 40s. The day will start cloudy and rain is forecasted to move in later. 2. Reading: People who are blind or who can not hold a book can still read, and on Tuesday an expert will be at the Wenham Senior Center to explain how. The program is called “Reading is for Everyone” and starts at 1 p.m. when Gayle Yarnall, who is totally blind herself, will explain the Talking Book Library. She’ll help people sign up for the free program and explain how it works. 3. Candidates: Tuesday is the final day for candidates to pull papers to run for office this year. Potential …
