Powerball Jackpot Soars to $600 Million, Five Local Places to Buy $2 Ticket

If you draw the Powerball winning numbers in Saturday’s lottery, you could score $550 million, or a $350 million one-time payout.

Powerball results were watched closely Wednesday when the jackpot was $363 million. After no one picked all six winning numbers, the new Powerball prize for the Saturday drawing is now $600 million. The one-time cash payout is estimated at $350.1 million. Tickets are $2 and the game is played in Massachusetts and 42 other states, including Florida, Texas, California and New York. Though not the largest Powerball cash payout, the jackpot is inching closer to the $384 million that was given out in November 2012 in Arizona and Missouri. $580M Powerball Jackpot Numbers: Did You Hit Any of the Numbers?

Massachusetts is one of 42 states that play Powerball. Did you have any of the winning numbers?

If you had all six numbers (and you had the six in the all-important "power ball" spot), then you won all or a share of $579,900,000.  Then again, if you won all or part of $579,900,000, you aren't reading this right now. You're shopping for mansions in Marblehead, driving the Bugatti you bought first thing Thursday morning to get there. Where to Buy a Ticket Locally for the $500 Million Powerball Jackpot

One the biggest lottery jackpots in history will be up for grabs on Wednesday night and here is where you can buy a ticket.

The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing is expected to be at least $500 million. Here's in the two towns, there's a few places where you can buy a ticket. The jackpot could rival the record $540 million jackpot from Megamillions back in March. There are five lottery agents in the two towns, and all lottery agents statewide sell Powerball tickets. Hamilton Community Package Store Hamilton Convenience Oliver Gulf G & M Motors Wenham Richdale Beth Bresnahan, a spokeswoman for the Massachusetts State Lottery, told the Boston Globe on Tuesday that between $20,000 and $22,000 in tickets will be sold per minute in the state between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The drawing is at 10:59 p.m. but ticket sales will cut off at 9:45 p.m.
