Boy Injured After Being Hit by Car in Wenham

Injuries to a 9-year-old struck by a car in Wenham on Thursday afternoon are believed to be minor.

A 9-year-old boy was injured after being struck by a car on Arbor Street in Wenham on Thursday afternoon. The crash was first reported at 3:54 p.m., just up from the First Church in Wenham. “It appears to be minor injuries at this time,” said Police Chief Ken Walsh at the scene on Arbor Street. The crash occurred between 16 and 17 Arbor St., near a crosswalk. Police said they are investigating whether the boy was in the crosswalk at the time of the accident. Walsh lauded the quick response of several neighbors, who quickly ran to the side of the boy, comforting him and providing first aid. “We’re still interviewing witnesses,” Walsh said. 'No Major Injuries' In Downtown Pedestrian Accident

A woman was taken to the hospital with "no major injuries" after being struck by a car on Monday night in downtown Hamilton.

A woman was taken to Beverly Hospital on Monday evening after being struck by a vehicle at a “very low speed” in downtown Hamilton, according to police. The victim, whose identity was not immediately available from police, suffered “no major injuries,” according to Hamilton Police Officer Michael Wetson and was taken by Lyons ambulance to the hospital to be checked out by doctors. The crash happened on Route 1A (Bay Road) next to Community Package Store in the downtown. Police received a 911 call about the crash at 4:58 p.m. and the first emergency responder was on scene at 5 p.m., Wetson said. Route 1A, between Linden Street in Wenham and Walnut Road in Hamilton, was closed for 20 minutes while the patient was treated and police …
