The MBTA plans to resume commuter rail service on Monday, returning to normally scheduled trips after the service was shut down for two and a half days because of the blizzard. The T stopped running commuter rail trains to and from Hamilton-Wenham station at 3:30 p.m. on Friday as the blizzard approached. Service remained halted through Saturday and into Sunday. The T resumed some service - mostly subways - on Sunday. But commuter rail service systemwide remained shut down through Sunday. Anyone headed to the Boston Celtics game on Sunday will not be able to take a train straight to the TD Garden since commuter rail trains will not run on Sunday.
