Dog owners: Where's your go-to walk?
My wife and I (and our old dog) just moved to the North Shore. We've been exploring different walks to take. Yesterday we did a bit of a walk on a newish-trail under construction at Wenham Lake off Cedar Street. A quick look through the Patch archives shows that the JC Philips Nature Preserve and Wenham Canal walks are also favorites. Where in Hamilton or Wenham is your favorite dog walk? Regardless of where you walk your dog, make sure they are adequately protected against ticks and vaccinated for Lyme. Anecdotal reports from a veterinarian indicate that over 50% of all dogs in Hamilton have Lyme disease. I will never forget a walk with my dog through the Myopia Schooling Fields and having to remove over 200 ticks from her coat. more ›
