Auditions: The Community House is hosting the first of two tryouts on Thursday for its upcoming Seussical Jr. production. Tryouts for ages 8-18 start at 6-8 p.m. on Thursday. Tom Barrett was one of the first volunteers for the Breakfast with Santa event 30 years ago.
Tom Barrett has served on The Community House of Hamilton-Wenham Board of Directors for 30 years and he was recently honored with a commemorative chair which has been dedicated in his honor and is on display in The Community House’s Presidential Library. Barrett first joined the Board of Directors of The Community House in March of 1983 and served as President of The Community House from 1986-1988. While on the Community House Board, he was instrumental in the start-up of the School’s Out program, and served as President of the School’s Out program twice. In adition to his board member responsibilities, he has seen The Community House through a major capital campaign, the addition of a new wing of offices and restrooms and the remodeling …
