Regional Team to Face Arlington Again in 'Quiz Show' Finals

The finals of High School Quiz Show, that airs this weekend on WGBH-TV channel 2, will be a rematch of last year, featuring Hamilton-Wenham versus Arlington.

The state finals of High School Quiz Show – which will air this coming weekend – will be a rematch of last year’s finals. The College Bowl team from Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School will face the team from Arlington High School.  The show will air on WGBH-TV channel 2 at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 20. Last year, after winning High School Quiz Show, the Regional team advanced to face Mt. Greylock Regional High School, which won a similar game called “As Schools Match Wits,” which airs on WGBH sister-station WGBY in Western Massachusetts. The Regional team defeated the Mt. Greylock team. This year, the High School Quiz Show championship serves at the statewide championship since the game was opened up to schools all across the state. …

The high school's College Bowl team celebrated its win in the semifinals last Sunday as the team moved on to the Eastern Massachusetts finals of the High School Quiz Show on WGBH-TV this weekend.

The College Bowl team at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School heads into this weekend's Eastern Massachusetts finals of High School Quiz Show against Arlington High School. The team won 295-210 in its match against Sharon High School, which aired last Sunday, in the eastern Massachusetts semifinals. Team members, parents and supporters gathered at Black Cow in Hamilton when the show aired for a "watch party." The gathering will happen again this Sunday at 7 p.m. for the Eastern Massachusetts finals.

Fans Cheers on High School Team in Huge 'Quiz Show' Win

Fans of the high school's Quiz Show team gathered for a "watch party" on Sunday night at the Farm Bar and Grill.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School's College Bowl team breezed past Shepard Hill in its latest match on program, which airs on WGBH channel 2. Many of the team's fans gathered on Sunday night at the Farm Bar and Grill in Essex to watch the show. The team moves on to face Weston and that show will air on April 24 at 7 p.m.
