Principal Finalists are Winthrop Media Specialist, Woburn Principal

Parents, faculty and community members will be able to meet the two finalists to become the next Winthrop Elementary School principal on Tuesday, July 24 from 6-8 p.m.

An integrated media specialist at Winthrop Elementary School and a Woburn elementary school principal are the two finalists to be Winthrop's next principal. Christopher Heath, currently principal at Goodyear Elementary School in Woburn and Amy Pasquarello, currently the Integrated Media Specialist at Winthrop, are the two finalists. Superintendent Michael Harvey said on Monday afternoon in an announcement to parents that the two finalists both “possess the right combination of education, experience and enthusiasm necessary for success in the position.” Heath and Pasquarello were selected as the two finalists last Wednesday, after the search committee interview seven semi-finalists. I am thrilled Mrs. Pasquarello is a finalist for the principal position. All three of my kids attended Winthrop school and I have been extremely impressed with her leadership and drive. She was a strong presence at all events I have attended at Winthrop. Winthrop Principal Search to Begin Immediately

A search committee will be assembled to find a new principal for Winthrop Elementary School.

A search committee will be assembled and a parent roundtable arranged as the search begins to find a new principal at Winthrop Elementary School. Principal Carrie Vaich announced this week she has taken a new job as the principal at Mast Way Elementary School in Lee, N.H. starting this fall. “This school is located much closer to my home, which will lessen my daily travel time greatly,” Vaich wrote in a letter to Winthrop families on Thursday. Vaich said she has “quite a drive” from her New Hampshire home. Her new job in the Oyster River Regional School District, near Durham, is adjacent to the town where she lives. “Over the past five years I have thoroughly enjoyed serving the Winthrop school community,” Vaich said in the same letter. “…

Winthrop Principal Leading Finalist for N.H. Job

Winthrop Elementary School Principal Carrie Vaich has been named a finalist for an elementary school principal job in Lee, N.H.

The principal at Winthrop Elementary School has been named a finalist to become the next principal at an elementary school in New Hampshire. Carrie Vaich visited Mast Way Elementary School in Lee, N.H. last Tuesday after being named one of two finalists. Last spring, Vaich was a finalist for two principal jobs to the north, in Newburyport and Rollinsford, N.H. Vaich has been principal at Winthrop Elementary School since 2007. The “Oyster River Cooperative School District Clean Slate” blog reports that Vaich spent 45 minutes meeting with teachers and another 45 minutes meeting with parents in Lee. “She told parents she hoped she would serve as Mast Way principal for many years and that she did not intend to use the position as a stepping …

Vaich Named Finalist for Second Elementary Principal Job

Carrie Vaich, the principal at Winthrop Elementary School in Hamilton, was named Monday as one of two finalists to become the next principal of a Newburyport elementary school.

Winthrop Elementary School Principal Carrie Vaich has been named a finalist for an elementary principal job in Newburyport. The Newburyport Daily News reported Tuesday that Vaich and Lorene Marx are the two finalists to become principal at Molin Upper Elementary School. Marx is the evaluation team leader for the Andover Public Schools. One of the two women – narrowed down from a pool of 75 candidates - will replace outgoing Principal Lori Gallivan. It’s the second time in recent weeks that Vaich has been named a finalist for an elementary school principal position in another district to the north. Winthrop Principal Finalist for N.H. Job

Carrie Vaich, who has been principal at Winthrop Elementary School, is one of two finalist to be the principal at a New Hampshire elementary school.

Winthrop Elementary School Principal Carrie Vaich is one of two finalists to be the next principal at Rollinsford Grade School in New Hampshire. Foster’s Daily Democrat, a daily newspaper in Dover, N.H. reported Thursday morning that Vaich and Kate Zacharias, currently the assistant principal at Spaulding High School in Rochester, N.H., are the two finalists. Vaich spent the morning on Tuesday meeting Grade School teachers and students, according to the Foster’s report. If she got the job, it would bring Vaich closer to her New Hampshire home.
