Today is Monday, Aug. 13. Here are five things you need to know: 1. Hot: Monday is looking to be a classic summer day – sunny and hot with temperatures getting well into the 80s. Plus, the humidity is supposed to subside. 2. Water Aerobics: Here’s something maybe you didn’t know. Asbury Grove hosts water aerobics open to the public in its pool. Sessions are at 9 a.m. at Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The fee is $3 each day when it is led by a Grove lifeguard except Thursday, when it is $5 when a professional instructor comes in. 3. Photo Contest: Tuesday at 8 p.m. is the deadline to enter Hamilton-Wenham Library’s “Dream Big, Read” children’s photo contest, where participants tell a story using photos mounted on a poster. There are two categories - children entering grades 1–3 and children entering grades 4-6 – and everyone who enters and meets the requirements gets a prize. 2. Gas Prices: Three of the four gas stations in Hamilton and Wenham were selling gas at or below the regional average on Monday. Today is Wednesday, Aug. 3. Here are five things you need to know: 1. Weather: Tuesday afternoon’s showers were relatively uneventful and brought in some cooler air. That slightly cooler air is expected to stick around on Wednesday, with sun and temperatures in the mid-70s. 2.
