Sunny Streak: Forecasters are saying that Thursday will start a streak of beautiful days of weather that will take us straight through the weekend. Thursday’s temperatures will be around 70 and temperatures will get closer to 80 by the weekend. 2. Reducing Toxins: There was an event originally scheduled for Thursday evening at Hamilton-Wenham Library that planned to offer ideas to reduce toxins in the home. Five member teams from the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School Districts will visit the current school district or workplace of the four finalists to become the next school superintendent.
They’ve come here. Now Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District leaders will go there. Five person teams of School Committee members and Superintendent Search Committee members will spend a few hours touring the home school districts and workplaces of the four finalists to become the next Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District superintendent. “The plan is to visit each site for about three hours,” said Dacia Rubel, the School Committee member who is working with consultant Tony Bent to arrange all the visits. The schedule was announced on Friday for each of the four finalists for school superintendent to meet with school leaders, faculty, staff, parents and community members during the next few weeks.
Each of the four finalists to become the next Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District superintendent will spend a full day in the district in the coming weeks. Each candidate will have the same daylong itinerary – starting at 7:45 a.m. with a meeting at the central office and ending at 7 p.m. with a dinner with the School Committee. “Their visits to the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District will include a full day of interviews, conversations, and meetings with the community, Leadership Team and School Committee,” the School Committee said in an announcement issued on Friday, after the committee met to set up the schedule on Thursday night. The field of 33 applicants has been narrowed to four finalists to become the next superintendent of the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District.
The four finalists to become the next superintendent of the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District are all from eastern Massachusetts, including top officials in two nearby school districts. The finalists, announced on Monday, are: Susan Givens, currently Chief Financial Officer for the Masconomet Regional School District; William Hart, currently Assistant Superintendent for Pentucket Regional Schools; Michael Harvey, currently Principal of Belmont High School and Julia Phelps, currently Associate Commissioner for Curriculum and Instruction at the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. We don't need a superintendant, we don't need an $80,000.00 software program to place students. For God's sake hire a person for this amount, start investing in people or their will be no people working to pay your high taxes to afford these broad based dissidents who only undermine our system of a free government for the people and by the people.   more ›
