Wenham's fall Special Town Meeting starts at 10 a.m.on Saturday in the gymnasium at Buker Elementary School.
Voters at Wenham Special Town Meeting on Saturday will take up two of the same questions Hamilton voters did two weeks ago - whether to put a Proposition 2-1/2 debt exclusion override on the November ballot. A full copy of the Town Meeting warrant, with all six articles, is attached to this story as a PDF. The most significant items are Article 4 and Article 5, which both ask voters to send two Proposition 2-1/2 debt exclusion overrides before voters on the Nov. 6 ballot. Two weeks ago Hamilton Town Meeting voters nearly unanimously approved putting both measures on the ballot that would fund capital …

There will be a Special Town Meeting on Wednesday night in Wenham, where one of three warrant articles will ask voters to begin to initiate a legislative petition for a pouring license for a new restaurant operator at the Wenham Tea House.

The Wenham Selectmen voted unanimously to hold a separate Special Town Meeting slightly over two weeks after Hamilton.
The Wenham Special Town Meeting will be held Tuesday, Nov. 8 at the Buker Elementary School. The decision was made last week by the Board of Selectmen, after much discussion and feedback about whether to have a simultaneous meeting with Hamilton on Oct. 22. “We wanted to make sure items for the warrant will have enough time for public comment and not to rush through the process,” Martins said. Martins said the decision to hold the meeting on a weekday night also took into account feedback from residents who were shuffling schedules due to children’s sporting events schedules. Martins said Town Moderator Paul Weaver was on hand at last week's meeting to assist in running through logistics to determine how much time each warrant might take. …

The other reason why people do not attend Town Meeting is not due to a lack of interest. Speaking of Bullying as in the other thread.
