Fine out where Hamilton-Wewnham Patch users say is the best place locally to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
The results are in and American Legion Post 194 in Hamilton is the winner in Hamilton-Wenham Patch's "Best of Patch Readers' Choice" contest for the best local place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with 15 votes. Voters chose the Legion and said the St. Patrick's Day dinner on Friday and concert on Saturday night make it the best place to celebrate. Coming in second was Weathervane Tavern with 10 votes. Two weeks ago, Weathervane Tavern was named by Hamilton-Wenham Patch users as the best place to get a sandwich. In St. Patrick's Day voting, Black Cow had 4 votes and 15 Walnut had 3 votes. Next week, Hamilton-Wenham Patch is looking for the best car repair garage. Voting begins Monday at 5 a.m. and will run all week.
