New Bakery in Danvers and Revamped Wild Horse Among Top Restaurant News

Here's our round up of the area's latest food news: Recently-opened Castiello's Bakery aims to "bring the North End to the North Shore." In other news in town, plans for a new pub style restaurant on Route 1 South have stalled and there's apparently a national restaurant chain now interested in the site. Have you been to the revamped Wild Horse yet? The comfort food/beer mecca did a complete renovation of the interior. Here are the details. Big news — Salem is getting a fish market! When I moved to Salem in December, I was surprised that the nearest one was the excellent Cherry Street Fish Market in Danvers. Here's our round up of the area's latest food news: There's sweet news out of the Garden City — Winfrey's has brought their famous chocolate and candies to Cabot Street. A New Black Cow, Beverly's Dining Scene Energized

It seems like every time we turn around a new restaurant is opening or sadly, closing. Here is a round up of restaurant news across the North Shore.   Hamilton-Wenham The owner of the Black Cow Tap and Grill in Hamilton plans a new waterfront pub in Newburyport, according to the Newburyport Daily News. In addition to the downtown Hamilton location, Black Cow also has a location in Newburyport and has been working for years to get the needed permits to put a new restaurant on the Beverly waterfront. The Hamilton location has been closed since April, undergoing renovations thatwill make it lighter and brighter.
