Wenham Girl Wins Best Costume Award in Jingle Bell Run

Hannah Miler, from Wenham, a Glen Urquhart School, won the best holiday costume award at Manchester's Annual Jingle Bell Run.

Glen Urquhart School students and alumni took top prizes and raised over $4,000 for The Junior Board of Friends of the Orphans in Manchester-by-the-Sea's Annual Jingle Bell Run last Sunday.   Hannah Miler from Wenham won the best holiday costume award and eighth grader Will Weingartner from Beverly Farms came in first. All of the alumni went to an NPH orphanage during their eigth grade work week at Glen Urquhart. Over 70 runners participated, including eight current Glen Urquhart students, many of whom won prizes. Additionally, Glen Urquhart Spanish teacher Barbara Kelley was awarded a national award for a volunteer who goes "Above and Beyond" for the organization. - Submitted by Kelly G.
