Trains to Boston to Resume on Monday, Use Caution at Station
The MBTA said that commuter rail service will return to normal on Monday morning.
The MBTA plans to resume commuter rail service on Monday, returning to normally scheduled trips after the service was shut down for two and a half days because of the blizzard. The T stopped running commuter rail trains to and from Hamilton-Wenham station at 3:30 p.m. on Friday as the blizzard approached. Service remained halted through Saturday and into Sunday. The T resumed some service - mostly subways - on Sunday. But commuter rail service systemwide remained shut down through Sunday. On Sunday at about 11 a.m., the T announced that regular service would resume at the start of service on Monday.
