The answer to this week's "Then and Now" historical photo was that it was a home on the northern end of Bay Road in Hamilton.
Our latest "Then and Now" historical photo feature was a home on Bay Road in Hamilton. It was 946 Bay Road. The home is still there today but does not have a porch on the front any longer. It is an apartment building today. The woman in the photo was Eileen Waterhouse Poole and was taken in 1945. There were no correct guesses. The photos show the existing view across Bay Road to where there was a field when the photo was taken in the 1940s. There's a new historical photo posted every Tuesday. Check the site on Tuesday for the latest one. If you know where it was taken, guess in the comments section at the bottom.
