Boys Hoops Fall by 1 Point in Postseason Opener

The Generals boys basketball team met Newburyport on Monday night in the first game of the postseason tournament.

The Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School boys basketball team lost by 1 point in its opening game of the Div. 2 North postseason tournament on Monday night, reports the Salem News. The Generals were the No. 11 seed and  (14-7) is No. 6. The Clippers move on to play the winner of No. 14 Amesbury (9-9) versus No. 3 Whittier Tech (18-2) game on Wednesday night. Sophomore James Foye led the scoring for the Generals with 23 points, including 13 in the second half. The Generals finish the season at 10-9.
