Colder: Some of the coldest weather in two years will hit us on Wednesday, with the temperature sticking to the teens all day. The windchill could be as low as -10 and the west wind will gust up to 20 miles per hour. 2. Flu: The spread of influenza seems to have slowed, but flu season is far from over. If you are still looking to get a flu shot, Addison Gilbert Hospital is hosting a flu shot clinic on Wednesday. The clinic will be held from 9-11 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. in the cafe at Addison Gilbert Hospital at 298 Washington St. in Gloucester. The clinic is open to anyone 4-year-old and up and is free. 3. CDC Says the Season Is Here: Where to Get Flu Shots in Hamilton and Wenham

Here's where to get an influenza vaccine, how to recognize symptoms and what to know about treatment if you get sick.

Flu season is coming early in parts of the United States: This time last year, flu cases were lower in Danvers than they are now, according to data on Google's Flu Trends. While Danvers-specific data is not available, flu cases are up right now over the same time last year in the greater-Boston area, according to Google's Flu Trends. Overall in Massachusetts, activity is considered high now, while it was considered low at this time in 2011, according to Flu Trends. If you're considering getting a flu shot, there's one place in the two that offers the vaccine (besides your own doctor, of course): CVS Nearby, you can also get a flu shot at Rite Aid in either Beverly or Ipswich, CVS in North Beverly and Allen's Pharmacy in Manchester-by-the-…

Five Things to Know on Nov. 15: Free Flu Shots

Today is Thursday, Nov. 15. Here are five things you need to know in Hamilton and Wenham: 1. Repeat: Thursday’s weather will largely be a repeat of Wednesday – a beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the 40s. 2. Flu Shots: The second of two flu shot clinics happens on Thursday at The Meetinghouse in Hamilton for residents of both towns. It runs from 3-6 p.m. and is open to all ages. The Boards of Health from both towns, which are sponsoring the clinic, recommend that people wear short sleeves or loose-fitting sleeves and bring your insurance card. 3.
