Just for Fun: Where Do You Get Your Morning Coffee? [POLL]

Where's the place in the two towns you get coffee? Vote in our poll and they say why in the comments section. The voting closes on Friday morning.

Coffee is a key part of the morning routine for many people. And we know that making it at home – especially in the era of the K-cup – is a popular alternative to the coffee shop. But pretend your coffee maker isn't working, you're all out of coffee and you need a quick pick-me-up before heading off to work. Last winter, we asked you what your favorite hot beverage was in the two towns and now we want to know where you go to get it. Some of the popular shops include Dunkin Donuts, Grassy Roots and Henderson’s Café. There’s also the coffee at Wenham Tea House, Hamilton Convenience Store and seasonally at the Asbury Grove coffee shop. Did your favorite coffee shop not make the list? Just vote for "other" and let us know in the comments …

Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks and Front Street Coffeehouse in Salem all received votes. Check back on Hamilton-Wenham Patch and our Facebook page next Tuesday for another poll question. In addition, keep your eye on various future stories on Hamilton-Wenham Patch, where we will be adding poll questions. If you have a suggestion for …

Talk of the Towns

Keyser: No Room for Dollar Stores?

With changes being made at the Hamilton Shoppes mall, local shops lean towards high end stores.

Well, keep your fingers crossed as the hot weather is taking a break. I suspect it will return shortly. Hey, at least its not snowing. In other events around the towns, a recent story in the newspaper about the Dunkin Donut shop in the mall said that the coffee shop would be doing some enlarging and would be adding more space next door, in the former ice cream shop. In listening to comments from folks around both towns, many recall the mall when it was mostly what would be called "locally owned stores." These days, most of the stores are part of a chain operation, and are what are called "high end" stores. In talking to Carol Mazzetta, who with her husband owned and operated the former Coffee Table restaurant, which is now Dunkin Donuts, …
