Five Things That Say Christmas in Hamilton and Wenham

We’re three days away from Christmas Day and as we look around the two towns, here are some things that say Christmas to us. The lighted gazebo: Almost every town has a Christmas tree, but in addition to the Christmas tree at People’s United Bank, there’s also the lighted gazebo at Patton Park. It really is an eye-catching holiday sight each evening. EdFund Christmas tree sale: It’s become an important Christmas-time ritual for many families to get their Christmas tree at the EdFund’s Christmas tree sale at Patton Park. The sale has a lot of supporters, including many who stood up to make sure the sale was well-represented on a regional wrap-up of places to buy Christmas trees that was on Patch earlier this month. PHOTOS: Gazebo and Tree Aglow After Sunday Night Festivities

The gazebo at Patton Park and Christmas Tree at People's United Bank in Hamilton were lit on Sunday night after singing carols and the arrival of Santa.

It was standing room only at the Community House of Hamilton and Wenham for the caroling on Sunday night. Santa visited and on the way out he was given a cookie and cocoa. Then everyone headed over to Patton Park to light the gazebo and then down to People's United Bank to light the Christmas tree.
