Five Things You Need to Know Today: Nov. 28

Today is Monday, Nov. 28. Here are five things you need to know: 1. Warm: Forecasters are saying that temperatures may get close to 70, yes 70, on Monday as a warm front moves across the area. It will be partly sunny and winds may gust as high as 25 miles per hour. 2. Hamilton Fire Department: Engine 3 from the Hamilton Fire Department represented the two towns in the Beverly Holiday Parade on Sunday afternoon, which, as usual, ended with Santa riding a horse-drawn carriage. 3. Writing Contest: Monday is the deadline to submit a story for Hamilton-Wenham Library’s children and teenager story writing contest. All stories – from first through sixth graders - are due to the library at 8 p.m. The winners will be announced on Dec. 12. A contest…
