Winner: Best Place for Breakfast or Brunch

Which restaurant in Hamilton and Wenhan did Patch users say is their favorite place to get breakfast or brunch?

The Wenham Tea House has been voted the winner in Hamilton-Wenham Patch's "Best of Patch Readers' Choice" contest for the best local place to get breakfast or brunch. The Monument Street business received 24 votes, ahead of 15 Walnut with 19 votes and The Henderson’s Cafe with 17 votes. Also factored into tabulating a winner each week is new reviews in the business directory section, but none of the breakfast and brunch spots in this week’s voting reviewed any new reviews. Two commenters did express support for Tea House, with one acknowledging that it has been closed for the past three months but had her support based on its previous operator and the plans outlined by the new operator, Henry’s Fine Foods, which plans to reopen it on …

Winner: Best Car Repair Garage

Which car repair garage in Hamilton and Wenhan did Patch users say is their favorite?

Burnett’s Garage in Wenham has been voted the winner in Hamilton-Wenham Patch's "Best of Patch Readers' Choice" contest for the best local place to get your car repaired. The Maple Street business received 35 votes, ahead of Mike’s Auto with 19 votes and G & M Motors with 10 votes. Also factored into tabulating a winner in new review in the “Patch Places” section, where Asbury Street Motors received a review. Next week, Hamilton-Wenham Patch is looking for the best place for breakfast. Voting begins Monday at 5 a.m. and will run all week.

Winner: Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

Fine out where Hamilton-Wewnham Patch users say is the best place locally to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

The results are in and American Legion Post 194 in Hamilton is the winner in Hamilton-Wenham Patch's "Best of Patch Readers' Choice" contest for the best local place to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with 15 votes. Voters chose the Legion and said the St. Patrick's Day dinner on Friday and concert on Saturday night make it the best place to celebrate. Coming in second was Weathervane Tavern with 10 votes. Two weeks ago, Weathervane Tavern was named by Hamilton-Wenham Patch users as the best place to get a sandwich. In St. Patrick's Day voting, Black Cow had 4 votes and 15 Walnut had 3 votes. Next week, Hamilton-Wenham Patch is looking for the best car repair garage. Voting begins Monday at 5 a.m. and will run all week.

Winner: Best Hair Salon

Which hair salon in Hamilton and Wenham did users say is their favorite?

The results are in and Locksmyth's is the winner in Hamilton-Wenham Patch's latest "Best of Patch" contest, where 85 voters had cast their ballots before the poll closed at 9 a.m. They voted and left comments about which hair salon is the best in the two towns. Locksmyth's, located on Main Street in Wenham just south of the Hamilton town line, offers the best cuts and colors, according to user Paula Breuer. "In need for a great haircut and an answer to that little known mystery or fact in the world that's been bugging you?" said commenter "Molly." "Try sitting in a Locksmyths chair and get both accomplished at the same time!" Second place was close - M. Lekkakos was one vote ahead of Six Bay Road Salon, but two commenters chimed in to say …
