Some of Angie Miller's youngest fans - including those from Hamilton and Wenham - talk about their excitement about Miller's hometown visit to Beverly on Saturday.
Angie Miller fans packed the parade route through downtown Beverly on Saturday afternoon, including some from Hamilton and Wenham. The American Idol Top 3 finalist had her hometown visit on Saturday that, in addition to the parade included a free outdoor concert and visits with many of the city's schoolchildren. A special tea blend at Jolie Tea Co. in Hamilton plays tribute to American Idol star Angie Miller of Beverly.
Amy Job hopes that American Idol star Angie Miller of Beverly gets to taste some of the 'Angie Blend" when she returns to the North Shore this weekend. Job, who owns Jolie Tea Co. on Bay Road in downtown Hamilton, came up with the blend to honor the singer, who on Thursday night reached the Top 3 on season 12 of the show. Miller's spot in the Top 3 means she gets a hometown visit on Saturday that will include a parade through downtown Beverly and a concert. The blend, which is available in free samples at the store, includes pomegranate, rose pedals, ginger and lavender and is a China green tea. "She will hopefully get to try the tea when she comes home," Job said on Thursday, before the Top 3 results were announced during the show on …

A reality show star who went to school in Hamilton was in the audience at American Idol as another North Shore woman shoots for a win on the Fox television show.
When Angela Miller advanced out of the Hollywood Round on Thursday night’s American Idol, looking on in the audience was another woman who knows how to win a reality TV show – Kristina Kuzmic. Kuzmic is a Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School graduate who won her own cooking show on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network in 2011. Kuzmic “met” Miller after Kuzmic tacked posters up around the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary as a 15-year-old Regional student, advertising her babysitting services. Miller’s parents, Guy and Tama, responded. They lived on campus with their young son Jonathan and Tana was pregnant with Angela. “I think I was her first babysitter,” Kuzmic said.
