Appliance Rebates to Become Available July 28
State Rep. Brad Hill announced Monday that another round of appliance rebates will be available to replace old appliances with new, more effecient appliances.
The Massachusetts Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate program begins on July 28, state Rep. Brad Hill, R-Ipswich, announced on Monday. Massachusetts was allocated $2 million for an Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program by the U.S. Department of Energy’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The program is designed to spur significant household energy savings and seeks to take high energy-consuming home appliances out of service and replace them with qualified “Energy Star” models. “This opportunity will help residents purchase more efficient appliances, while also allowing for cost savings in the future,” Hill said. “I hope residents are able to take advantage of this rebate program.” The Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate program runs …
