Donovan Field is a green space located in Hamilton. The field is primarily used for practice by various sports leagues,More specifically adult and youth lacrosse, baseball, soccer and field hockey. Dogs and alcohol are not allowed on the field. All trash should be removed upon leaving the area. Donovan Field is a coveted community resource and sports teams depend on the space, as fields in the area are limited.
JC Phillips Nature Preserve

A portion of this city-owned park in Beverly is in Wenham along the shores of Wenham Lake. The trailhead is locatedMore in Beverly on the Wenham/Beverly Line on Cabot Street, across from Beverly's Birch Plains Park. Hilly hiking trails spread across conservation land on the west side of Wenham Lake. The trails are also enjoyed by cross country skiers and snowshoers, in the winter.

There is no sign near the road, the entrance is a dirt road off Route 97, which also serves as a private driveway. Wenham Lake serves as the public water supply for Beverly and Salem and therefore swimming, fishing and boating are prohibited. Additional restrictions include no horseback riding, no fires, no alcohol and no camping.This property is very popular among dog owners.

Cross Country meets are held here in the fall.
