Can anyone please tell me why General Patton or his son liked Hamilton ? I would think they would have settled in Montana, where one can find true freedom.

If I'm not mistaken Jim the General's wife Beatrice was from here. I know most of her family lives here and while the General was at war she wanted to be near her family.Peter Britton's wife is his great grand-daughter, her name is also Beatrice you could contact her or Joanne Patton and inquire.
