A magnificent public park today, Bradley Palmer State Park was once a magnificent and manicured private estate. The estate belonged to a highly-prominent attorney, who played host to the famous among the famous. The park's 721 acres are greatly expanded by its direct proximity to Willowdale State Forest. Dogs are allowed on leashes. The park is a favorite destination for horseback riding, cross-country skiing and walking.
