Take on Summer at Healthy Kids Day, April 28

At Healthy Kids Day at the Greater Beverly YMCA, families will enjoy rock climbing, open swim, open gym, various sports activities, and a free Yoga Kids class, plus vendor tables and demonstrations.

On Saturday, April 28, the Greater Beverly YMCA is celebrating Healthy Kids
Day with a free community event that will help families find fun through active play and educational opportunities to improve health and well-being.

At Healthy Kids Day, families will enjoy rock climbing, open swim, open gym, various sports activities, and a free Yoga Kids class being offered from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The Beverly Police and Fire Departments, North Shore CDC, Department of Public Health, Department of Public Works, Bay State Physical Therapy, Garden City Pediatrics, Greater Beverly YMCA Summer Camps, and Kari Marks, Nutritionist at the Greater Beverly YMCA, will be hosting vendor tables and leading demonstrations at the event.   

There will also be a raffle featuring prizes such as a week of camp, specialty birthday parties and an one hour massage.

Healthy Kids Day takes place on April 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sterling YMCA at 254 Essex St. in Beverly.
