Pumpkin Fest Returns on Saturday

The annual Pumpkin Fest happens on Saturday at the Hamilton Public Safety Building.

Hundreds of pumpkins will be available for carving at the Hamilton Public Safety Building on Saturday as part of this year's Pumpkin Fest.

The event starts at 12:30 p.m. when pumpkins will be available for carving. The children's costume parade happens at 3 p.m. and makes its way from the Senior Center (old library) to the downtown.

The event will also include music from a DJ plus free games and crafts for kids from 12:30-3 p.m. Face painting for kids will happen from 1-3 p.m. as will hayrides.

The annual event is a fall tradition in Hamilton and Wenham. The jack-o-lanterns will bit lit at 6 p.m. around Weaver Pond at Patton Park.

After Pumpkin Fest is over, Hamilton firefighters will serve a spaghetti dinner in the fire station starting at 4 p.m. It is all-you-can-eat with donations accepted at the door.

The evening ends with a bonfire in Patton Park at 6:45 p.m.
