Horse-Drawn Coaches Plan Trips All Weekend in Hamilton

Historic horse-drawn coaches will make trip in Hamilton this weekend as part of North Shore Coaching weekend.

North Shore Coaching Weekend got underway on Friday with about 12 horse-drawn historic coaches making the trip from the Myopia Schooling Fields to Appleton Farms and back.

The coaches plan trips on Saturday and Sunday, leaving the Myopia Schooling Field on Route 1A on Saturday at 11 a.m., headed for the Patton Homestead on Asbury Street and arriving at Bradley Palmer State Park at noon.

On Sunday, the coaches are planned to leave the Schooling Fields at 12:30 p.m. and head to Brackenside on Bridge Street, getting back for polo at Myopia at 3 p.m.

The coaches can be viewed by the public anywhere along the route and the trips are planned rain or shine.
