Wenham's Laurie Stephens won two medals in this month's Sochi Paralympics.
Stephens won bronze in the women’s sitting downhill and another bronze in the super-G.
"That is pretty exciting,” Stephens said in a statement.
Stephens would have won a third bronze in the sitting slalom, but Germany's Anna Schaffelhuber was awarded gold after a successful appeal of her disqualification. Stephens was bumped to fourth place.
Stephens, 29, was born with spina bifida. She started skiing at age 12 as part of a disabled group who started training at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire. She's a 2002 graduate of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School and now lives in Aspen, Colorado.
Her performance in Sochi earned her a spot as a finalist for the "Best of U.S." award.
