Quick Things to Know for Thanksgiving Day Football: Hamilton-Wenham at Ipswich
This is the 39th meeting of the two rivals will be played on Thanksgiving morning.
The Hamilton-Wenham Generals visit the Ipswich Tigers on the gridiron again Thursday morning for the annual Thanksgiving Day game.
Here are five things you should know about the big game.
- Kickoff is slated for 10 a.m. on Thursday at Ipswich.
- The Tigers play at Jack Welch Stadium, located at Ipswich High School on High Street (Route 1A) north of town.
- Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens.
- The two teams have already met once this season, with the Generals winning 28-14. Ipswich ended the season at 2-8 and Hamilton-Wenham at 4-6.
- Hamilton-Wenham leads the Thanksgiving Day matchup, which began in 1975, 20-18.
