Watch North Shore Native in Olympics Opening Ceremonies

There are three preliminary round games scheduled starting on Saturday.

Cheer on Danvers’ Meghan Duggan during the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies, which will be broadcast by NBC at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Duggan, a forward with the US Women’s Hockey team, will enter the Olympic Stadium with the rest of the USA Olympic Team.

There are three preliminary round games scheduled for the U.S. Women’s Hockey Team. These are all eastern standard time and the games will be re-broadcast during more American-friendly times.

  • Saturday, Feb. 8, 3 a.m. – vs. Finland (it will be re-broadcast at 6 p.m. on NBC Sports Network)
  • Monday, Feb. 10, 5 a.m. – vs. Switzerland (it will be re-broadcast at 5 p.m. on NBC Sports Network)
  • Wednesday, Feb. 12, 7:30 a.m. – vs. Canada (it will be re-broadcast at 5 p.m. on NBC Sports Network)
  • Saturday, Feb. 15 – Quarterfinals
  • Monday, Feb. 17 – Semifinals
  • Thursday, Feb. 20 – Gold and Bronze Medal games
