Myopia Riders Face Top Competition in Lake Placid

Members of the Myopia Hunt Club Equestrian Team rode last weekend against top competition in Lake Placid, N.Y.

Two riders from Hamilton and one Wenham - members of the Equestrian Team - traveled to Lake Placid, N.Y. last weekend to compete in the 42nd Annual Lake Placid Horse Show.

The show included riders from all over the country, including past U.S. Olympic Team riders and other riders who are competing for team selection for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Hannah Collins of Wenham and Christina Fallon of Hamilton competed in the Modified Children's Working Hunter Division and Kelly Goodwin of Hamilton competed in the Children's Working Hunter Horse 15-17 division, and placing eighth out of 30 in the Taylor Harris Medal class.
