More than 200 runners took to the streets on Saturday in Hamilton in the 16th annual Melody Miles Road Race. Take a look at some of the action and smiley faces from the event.

Mark Mayall of Maynard won Saturday’s Melody Miles road race in Hamilton – a unique race that’s a fundraiser for The Friends of the Arts and features musicians entertaining the runners. He finished the five-mile course with a time of 27:19.

The top Hamilton finisher was Phil Masterson in third place with a time of 31:30. The top woman was Heather Rich of Hamilton in fifth place at 31:41.

In the five-kilometer race, Scott Ruplinger of Cambridge won with a time of 17:52.

Michael Allara was the first Hamilton finisher in third place with a time of 19:02. The top female was Molly Lueke of Danvers in 23:48.
