Hamilton's Carter-Williams Leads in Upset of Nation's Top-Ranked Team

The No. 6-ranked Syracuse Orange upset No. 1 Louisville on Saturday in a nationally televised NCAA basketball game.

Michael Carter-William's 11 points, plus a steal and dunk, in the final minutes on Saturday were key factors in Syracuse Orange's upset win over the No. 1-ranked Louisville Cardinals in NCAA basketball action, according to a report by Fox Sports.

Carter-Williams, a sophomore at Syracuse, is a Hamilton-native who played his freshman year at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School before transferring to St. Andrew's in Rhode Island, where he was named the state's Gatorade Player of the Year his senior year.

The win 70-68 win for Syracuse came on the road in Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center in a game nationally televised on ESPN.
