Generals Headed to Postseason in New Gridiron Format

The Hamilton-Wenham Generals football team is headed to the postseason and will play Cape Ann League rival Pentucket on the road next Saturday.

The football team from Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School has made the postseason and will play next weekend in a newly reorganized postseason format.

The Generals will travel to Pentucket Regional High School in West Newbury to take on the Sachems at 2 p.m.

At the No. 8 seed, the Generals will play No. 1 seed Pentucket (5-1) in the newly formed Division 4 North. Hamilton-Wenham (3-4) was an automatic qualifier after finishing second in the CAL Baker Division.

The winner of the game will take on Triton versus Watertown game happening on Saturday night.
