Even though the two schools are connected, Gray said in an interview on Tuesday that the building inspector has told the school district that one school can be opened before the other.

With the reopening of all the schools now in sight, Gray said school officials will now shift their focus to deciding how to make up some of the missed day.

He said the options would be discussed at the School Committee meeting on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the multipurpose room.

School and town officials will also attend the meeting to present “a recap of the events that occurred over the last week.”
