The search is on for a new member of the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School Committee.
The opening came up when Melissa Even Moore resigned late last month. Her seat on the board must be filled by another Wenham resident and will be filled until next April's town election, when voters will select someone to fill the rest of Moore's term, according to Debi Morong from Town Administrator Mark Andrews office.
Moore said she resigned because her family was looking for a new home in Hamilton or Wenham but was not be able to find one and had to move out of town.
The deadline to express interest is the opening is Friday, Oct. 25. Anyone who is interested should contact School Committee Chairman Roger Kuebel at email@example.com.
The committee holds it regular meetings on the first and third Thursdays of the month, plus committee meetings.
