Snow Days Push Back High School Exams

Last week's two snow days due to a blizzard means Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School final exams will be held beginning Thursday.

Final exams at , originally scheduled for this Tuesday through Friday, have been pushed back due to two snow days last week.

Exams will be held Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday, said Principal Matt Fox.

"There are classes that don't meet every day, so we would have had classes that didn't meet for almost a week before exams," Fox said. "We thought it would be best this way for the students."

Snow days last Wednesday and Thursday, caused by that began early morning on Tuesday, also forced a cancellation of Thursday night's student play at the . 

Last week's snow days were the first two of the current school year. The final day of school in June will be voted on by the School Committee.
