Miles River Middle School Principal Finalists Chosen

The community will have a chance to meet the three finalists beginning Thursday night.

The Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District is pleased to announce that the following individuals  have been selected as finalist candidates for the position of Miles River Middle School Principal.

The three finalists will be introduced to the community during the afternoons of February 6th, 10th and 12th in three meet-and-greet sessions designed for parents and interested community members to ask questions and get to know where the candidates stand on education issues. The sessions will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Music Room of the Middle School.

Craig Hovey – Thursday, February 6

Liz Sharp – Monday, February 10

Bill Grubb – Wednesday, February 12

Hovey has been Assistant Principal of O’Maley Middle School in Gloucester, MA since 2008, where he served as Science Teacher for Grades 6 and 7 prior to his promotion.

Sharp, Interim Principal of John F. Ryan Elementary School in Tewksbury, where she served as Assistant Principal for the 2012-2013 school year. Prior to this, Ms. Sharp served as a Middle School Teacher and Academic Coordinator in the North Andover Public Schools.

Grubb, Principal of St. Charles Elementary School, formerly served as Principal of the Ashland Middle School, and Assistant Principal in both the Belmont and Hopkinton Public Schools.
