Final 'Fiddler' Performances This Weekend at the Regional

The final two shows of "Fiddler on the Roof" by the drama program at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School are on Friday and Saturday.

The final two performances of “Fiddler on the Roof” will take the stage in the newly-renovated Ferrini Dramatics Center at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School this weekend.

The musical includes the iconic songs “Tradition,” “Matchmaker,” “If I Were a Rich Man” and “Sunrise, Sunset.” Chris Shailor, the longtime head of the high school drama department, is directing it.

Performances are Nov. 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets at the door are $10 for students and seniors; $12 for adults.

Most of the cast and crew live in Hamilton and Wenham, plus some from Rockport, and includes students from all grades, from freshmen to seniors. About 45 students from the school rehearsed daily this fall.

The school’s auditorium has recently received a new sound system and all new lights, curtains and seats.
