Applications for the Wenham Village Improvement Society Secondary Education Scholarship are available on-line at www.wenhamvillageimprovementsociety.org. Students may apply for a WVIS Scholarship if they are a Wenham resident entering the freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year in college and are applying for financial aid at the institution they plan to attend. Financial need will be one area considered when awarding the scholarship.
WVIS has awarded scholarships for higher education to qualified Wenham residents since 1950. Many of the scholarship donations are made in memory of Wenham residents, including the Pierce, Birkemose, Whittier, Ayers, Kimball, Boyd and Aldrich families.
