Burr Commits to Play Lacrosse at Div. 1 Syracuse

Elliott Burr has committed to attend Syracuse University this fall, where he will play on the lacrosse team.

Former Regional football and lacrosse standout Elliott Burr has committed to play lacrosse at Syracuse University, ESPN Boston reported on Monday.

Burr had originally planned a post-grad year at but instead will now start at Syracuse this fall.

At Syracuse he’ll , who will be a sophomore and is guard on the basketball team. After playing his freshman year at , Carter-Williams transferred to St. Mark’s in Rhode Island.

Burr had 61 goals and 40 assists for the Generals on the lacrosse field this season. The 9th-ranked Generals by the 8th-ranked Medway squad this year.

While he’ll play lacrosse in college, Burr also played a key role on the Generals football team that and , . He was named a Northeast Conference/Cape Ann League .
