We've left out a list of specific crosswalks since there are so many - from Main Street in Wenham in front of the to Bay Road in Hamilton in front of - to many of the other crosswalks near schools or outside of town.

The center of Town is the worst, sometimes you don't notice someone crossing until your almost on top of them! We used to have a Cruiser parked there to slow people down coming through town, haven't seen one there in awhile!

Arbor St. at Eddel Ave./Arbor St. at First Church. Cars continue to speed down Arbor making it difficult to safely cross. Many cars ignore people waiting at the crosswalk/in the crosswalk increasing the danger for children going to Buker School.

What do the police reports say? The cross walks not at the "corner" are difficult...Cherry St near Cedar, Arbor near Eddle, 1a at the post office, and 1a from the Wenham Museum to the Wenham Tea House.

Living on Eddel Ave. with a Buker student who has to cross Arbor St. everyday, I have to say that is my biggest concern. We can stand at the crosswalk morning, afternoon, or evening and watch as 10 cars pass without even noticing us. I have even watched as a school bus stopped at the crosswalk to let pedestrians cross and an SUV headed the opposite direction drove right through it. The driver did not even see a giant yellow school bus stopped at the crosswalk. It's very scary!!

The most dangerous crosswalk is the one that is needed but is not there....at the intersection of 1A and Patton Drive. Walkers, bikers, joggers, runners, etc....all use this crossing with as many as 20-30 cars passing by without anyone letting them cross.
