Wenham Trash Pickup to Happen as Usual on Monday

There will be no changes to trash pickup on Monday, Nov. 12 even though it is the observed holiday for Veterans Day.

Trash will be picked up as usual on Monday in Wenham, according to both Hiltz Waste Disposal and Traci Masterson, administrative assistant to Town Administrator Mark Andrews.

Trash, recycling and compost should be out by 7 a.m. for pickup, as always. Trash pickup will also happen as scheduled on Tuesday in Wenham. Trash pickup will also happen as usual starting on Wednesday in Hamilton.

Hiltz said on its Twitter account earlier this week that "Veterans Day will not affect pickups next week," and the Gloucester-based company said it will do pickup as usual in many of the North Shore towns where it has contracts, including Goveland, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Marblehead and Swampscott.
