Andrews started in Wenham in April 2012 as interim town administrator, and was given a contract extension in July 2012. In May, “interim” title was dropped from his title.

He has been paid $100,000 annually. Maynard officials have not said the pay for its job.

Andrews took over after the departure of Jeff Chelgren, who was the Wenham town administrator for a decade. He left for a similar job in Marblehead.

Before coming to Wenham, Andrews was administrator in Wareham from 2009-2012 and also held finance position with the city of Lawrence and Northern Essex Community College.
