Two Middle School Principal Finalists from Cape Ann and Wisconsin

The two finalists to become to next principal at Miles River Middle School will be available to meet the public on Thursday night at the school.

Two existing middle school principals - one from neighboring Cape Ann and one from half way across the country – are the two finalists to become the next principal at .

Nancy Croy, principal at Lombardi Middle School in Green Bay, Wis. and Elizabeth Raucci, principal at Manchester-Essex Middle School in Manchester-by-the-Sea, are the finalists, Interim Superintendent Peter Gray announced in a Blackboard Connect phone and e-mail message to parents on Monday afternoon.

The next principal will replace Matt Fox, who was the combined principal of the middle school and who left to become principal at .

After Fox left, school leaders decided to replace Fox with a full-time principal each at the high school and middle school. Last month, Gray announced that a and instead a search in underway for an interim principal for the coming year. No announcement about the finalists in that search has been made.

Both middle school finalists will be available to meet with the public on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Miles River Middle School.
